Kansas Troubles Quilters was founded in 1989 by three friends who quilted together and sold their wares at craft shows. Many people requested the patterns of their original creations, so in 1994, two of the women began publishing their patterns for wholesale distribution to quilt shops. More than twenty years later, Lynne has created hundreds of quilting patterns, published two dozen books, and designed over seventy collections of fabric with Moda. Kansas Troubles Quilters always has something new in the works including new fabric lines, books, patterns, workshops, retreats and cruises. Lynne and her husband Robert host retreats at their store in Bennington with more than fifty quilters attending each year.
