Rock City Park is a National Natural Landmark comprised of over 200 huge concretions in an area about the size of 2 football fields. You can find Rock City Park just a few miles Southwest of Minneapolis, Kansas, at 1051 Ivy Road. Walk among and climb on huge boulders, rest in the shade of the gazebo, picnic under the trees, or enjoy our recently added and renovated picnic shelter. Be sure to stop in our Curio shop and see the many hand-crafted items and souvenirs. The park also has interconnecting mowed trails that wander through native grasses and wildflowers. Young and old can climb on the rocks, some the size of a house! Rock City admission is $5 per adult, and ages 15 and under are free. The Curio Shop opens on weekends in March & April from 9 to 4, then 9 to 5 every day through the end of August. The park is open from dawn till sunset year-round. We now have a QR code to pay with Venmo at the registration box or just put money in the yellow round tube right beside the registration box. We are not state-funded, YOU are the reason we are able to keep our park beautiful.
